As Destiny Health Care Services Limited we supply and recruit Band 2 Health Care Assistance for the NHS. We are recruiting in the following areas: Leicestershire, South West Yorkshire, Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

    • Support the registered nurse in implementation of an agreed plan of care with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received.
    • Help promote and maintain an environment conducive to meeting the needs of the patient / relatives and carers.
    • Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
    • Contribute to the legality and accuracy of the patients care plan/ and or other reports and the effectiveness of the established communication /reporting system over the full 24hrs
    • Participate in regular ward meetings and attend other meetings as requested
    • Undertake tasks and procedures, in which competency has been assessed and recorded specific to the care environment, including for example blood glucose monitoring.
    • Participate in research activities as and when required.
    • Provide support and assistance to registered staff
    • All team members are responsible for behaving in a manner that does not put themselves, patients, visitors and other team members in danger or at risk in the clinical environment
    • To assist in the maintenance of stock levels, including pharmaceutical products
    • To assist in the maintenance of ward cleanliness and tidiness and adhere to infection control policy and procedures at all times
    • To assist the patient to ensure they have the opportunity to meet their individual dietary requirements.
    • Ensuring all patients receive their chosen and correct meals
    • To receive and convey information from telephone or personal enquiries in a courteous manner and ensure all persons visiting the ward are greeted and assisted in a welcoming and supportive manner.
    • To assist and support registered nurses and clerical staff in administrative duties as required


Domiciliary Care

We will also work to encourage exercises such as walking or a dance class, arranging and accompanying people on social occasions or prayer meetings, accompanying people on visits to special places and local attractions, accompanying to day centres or other community day activities or accompanying people to doctor’s appointments, and keeping and managing a diary.

24 hour live in Care


Live-In Care is the realistic alternative to residential care. It is 24 hour care that allows you or your loved one to stay at home in familiar, relaxed surroundings. When require more constant companionship or personal care on an on-going basis then we may be the answer for you. We provide a range of tailored care at home services, including companionship, home help and personal care, through to more specialist support for those with dementia and care for those requiring post-operative rehabilitation. We have fully trained care workers who will work on an individually tailored care plan. Destiny Healthcare Services provides the utmost flexibility and although we will agree a Care Plan with you to identify key daily and weekly tasks, no two days need be the same and you may plan with your Caregiver how each day is approached.

Palliative Care

Destiny Health Care also provides “end of life care service” (palliative care). We value person’s wishes of dying in the comfort of own home. Our specialist End of Life support provides practical and emotional support for those nearing the end of their lives and to the families.
